We are a small breeding facility specializing in Gentle children's horses and ponies only. We have acquired a few nice paints and quarter horses with the intention of resale only. We currently have them priced at cost, if you call and make the inquiry. I am Currently constructing a new website, which will better show what we have to offer. So please, revisit us soon!
Although we take in Rescue horses, we are not registered as a "rescue" facility. We are also not registered non-profit, however 10% of any horse sale from our farm goes directly towards rescueing horses in need. At the moment we are filled to capacity and cannot take in any more until a few of our regular stock is sold. We do not nor have we ever made profit on our rescue horses as that is not our intention. 100% of the cost we may ask for any of our rescues (if at all) is simply turned back into feed and care for other rescues. We welcome any volunteers that will donate their time to the care of our horses in need. We will also accept donations of feed, or money, but we perfer that you donate your services rather than monetary donations as this leads to complications.
We have been in business for approximately one year. However, we have been caring for and training numerous breeds and ages of horses and ponies for over 20 years. Caring for horses is always a learning experience, and mistakes and accidents are a part of caring for large animals.
We have quite a few colorful paints (APHA) and pintos for sale.
These are awesome little ponies between 46" and 56" to qualify for full registry. We bought some stock with champion bloodlines to promote these wonderful ponies to this area. They have easy going dispositions by nature, not common in the pony breeds. They also feature wonderful color, great conformation, and lots of moves. With them being a larger pony breed, it makes them perfect for any age. By design, they excel in Gymkhana, Hunter/Jumper, and Trail.
These horses get a bad rap, and seeing some of the Appaloosas in the area, it's no wonder. Today's Appaloosa, is not the slow, ill tempered ponies some think of. They are now mostly Quarter Horses out of chamionship AQHA stock. The foundation stock that we prefer tend to have a smooth gait, which somewhat resembles a gaited horse. They are easy going, easy to handle from birth, and do not spook easily. They are bred for endurance, conformation, temperament, and speed. Color is just a plus. However for the rest of you, Mighty will be bred for a 2010 foal to a 2008 Appaloosa world show qualifier and Fancy will be bred this spring to a 2007 world show qualifier and this foal will be geared for reining and cutting.I will also be breeding some American registry appaloosas for endurance, pleasure and trail riding
